Starting August 4, 2008, patrons must access their library account by entering the barcode number found on your library card and a Personal Identification Number, or PIN. Search TOPCAT From Anywhere
You don't have to navigate to the TOPCAT home page to search the SWITCH Library Consortium library catalog. If you use Firefox 2.0 or IE 7, you can search TOPCAT directly from the search bar. Simply click the link below to install the plugin. Or, add TOPCAT to the Google Toolbar.

- Add the TOPCAT Search Plugin for IE 7 or Firefox 2
- Note: a checkmark option lets you set TOPCAT as the default search provider.

To add the TOPCAT search box to the Google Toolbar, do the following:
- Install the Google Toolbar. It is installed by default with IE 7, and with several other programs. Check to see if your browser doesn't already have it.
- Open the TOPCAT Google Toolbar Custom Button.
- Click "Add," then "OK"
- You can now search TOPCAT from within the Google Toolbar by clicking the dropdown arrow on the left side of the search box and selecting TOPCAT Library Catalog.
- Just type in our search terms and press "Enter"
